‘Curiously Overlooked: Hunter Biden’s Charges Manage to Bypass the ‘Laptop from Hell”

The Justice Department has struck a deal with Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, which exempts his “laptop from hell” from any charges. Hunter’s lawyer confirmed this in an interview with MSNBC’s Katy Tur. This laptop, which was the source of allegations of international bribery and corruption against the Bidens, was also disregarded by the Justice Department. Despite evidence found on the laptop, Hunter Biden’s charges only include tax and gun possession offenses, unrelated to the laptop.

Laptop Revelations Disregarded

The laptop in question, dubbed the “laptop from hell,” initially raised suspicions of the Bidens’ involvement in corrupt activities. House Republicans have subsequently uncovered evidence from an FBI informant file that supports these allegations. However, the Justice Department chose not to include any charges related to the laptop’s contents in Hunter Biden’s case.

Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Chris Clark, explicitly stated that the charges against his client do not stem from any information found on the laptop. When pressed for an explanation, Clark deferred the question to the prosecutors. This lenient treatment of Hunter Biden has sparked controversy, especially in comparison to the harsh treatment of individuals involved in the January 6th riots.

‘No Crime’ on Foreign ‘Gains’

During the same interview, Tur questioned whether the contents of the laptop provided evidence of criminal activity by Joe or Hunter Biden. Clark responded by stating that there is no evidence to suggest that the Bidens committed any crimes regarding the gains Hunter obtained abroad. He expressed his belief that the prosecutors thoroughly investigated the accusations against Hunter and, as a result, his client is pleased and ready to move forward with his life.

Hunter Biden recently pleaded guilty to tax violations and owning a gun as a drug addict. Although the Delaware US Attorney’s Office has stated that the investigation into Hunter Biden is ongoing, Clark believes that the five-year probe into his client is complete.
