A 41-year-old woman from Chicago, Tracy Marie Fiorenza, has been apprehended by federal authorities on charges of threatening to assassinate former President Trump and his teenage son, Barron.
This chilling incident serves as a stark reminder of the threats public figures, even those out of office, continue to face.
Fiorenza’s arrest followed her sending a series of menacing emails to the headmaster of a school in Palm Beach County, Florida, where the Trump family resides.
The charges against her include transmitting threats to kill or injure another person, a serious federal offense that carries a potential sentence of up to five years in prison.

The criminal complaint, unsealed in Florida, reveals Fiorenza sent two separate emails to the school headmaster, explicitly expressing her intention to harm the Trumps.
The first email, dated May 21, 2023, contained a chilling message. Fiorenza wrote, “I will state that I will shoot Donald Trump Sr. AND Barron Trump straight in the face at any opportunity that I get!”
A second email, sent on June 5, 2023, was equally disturbing. It stated, “I am going to slam a bullet in Barron Trump’s head with his father IN SELF DEFENSE!” These explicit threats led to a swift investigation by federal authorities, culminating in Fiorenza’s arrest.
Upon receipt of these threatening emails, agents from the U.S. Secret Service’s Chicago branch sprang into action, initiating an investigation into Fiorenza.
In June, a Secret Service agent contacted her and arranged a meeting at the agency’s downtown office. During this meeting, Fiorenza was confronted with copies of the emails she had sent.
So no details of her arrest and the Feds did not go out of it’s way to kill this woman unlike Craig Robertson. Another double standard. Secret Service Arrests Chicago Woman for Alleged Threats to Shoot Donald and Barron Trump https://t.co/7jbBjivrZe via @BreitbartNews

According to the federal complaint, Fiorenza admitted to intentionally writing and sending threatening emails from her former residence in Plainfield, Illinois. Her admission of guilt further solidified the case against her, providing irrefutable evidence of her intentions.
This incident underscores the importance of vigilance and swift action in the face of threats to our nation’s leaders. It also highlights the crucial role played by agencies like the Secret Service in ensuring the safety of our public figures.
