In an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Democratic Representative Adam Schiff of California raised doubts about President Joe Biden’s prospects in the 2024 election. Schiff stressed that Biden must either win decisively against former President Donald Trump or consider stepping aside for another candidate, like Vice President Kamala Harris.

Schiff recommended that Biden consult with individuals outside his inner circle to make a decision that serves the nation’s best interests.
Pointing to Harris as a potential contender, Schiff argued that she could defeat Trump decisively due to her political savvy and unique perspective. He highlighted Biden’s age as a factor contributing to his declining poll numbers, despite the accomplishments of his administration. Schiff commented, “Considering Biden’s impressive record and Trump’s disastrous track record, Biden should be far ahead of Donald Trump. It shouldn’t even be close, and the reason it is close is the president’s age.”

Biden is not just facing pressure from Schiff to contemplate stepping down.
