An autistic woman filed a lawsuit against billionaire investor Leon Black Tuesday, alleging that she was raped by him in sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s Manhattan mansion in 2002, when she was 16.
The lawsuit was filed under the pretense of a New York City law against gender-motivated violence. The lawyer for the autistic woman, Jeanne Christensen, has not commented on if the parties reached any settlement.
Under the pseudonym Jane Doe, the complaint says that Black pinned the young woman down and raped her after she came to deliver him a message.
Epstein later found the girl crying, but refused to let her see a doctor, saying his British socialite and associate Ghislaine Maxwell would tend to such needs.

Black’s lawyer, Susan Estrich, denounced the lawsuit, calling the evidence unfounded and saying no correlation between Doe and the billionaire exists, as they never met.
Doe was born with Mosaic Down Syndrome and taken into Epstein’s fold while participating in a summer cheerleading camp.
He frequently received massages from her, which involved both of them being naked. Doe says that she was then sent to Black by way of Epstein.
According to Forbes magazine, Black is a co-founder of the private equity firm Apollo Global Management, with a reported net worth of $10.1 billion, which he left in 2021.

Black denied other sexual abuse allegations.
There have been claims made by Cheri Pierson, who claimed she was raped in Epstein’s estate. Another person who came forward is former Russian model Guzel Ganieva, who also alleges abuse.
The US Senate’s finance committee also announced an investigation. This happened the same day as Doe’s lawsuit into Black’s handling of various trusts.
Also of interest is the nature of the $158 million he paid to Jeffrey Epstein for tax and estate planning. Authorities want to determine if it should be considered as income or a gift for tax purposes.
