During the September 2020 presidential debate, President Trump
confronted then-candidate Joe Biden about Hunter’s $3.5 million bribe from the wife of the mayor of Moscow.
During the debate hosted by Chris Wallace, Trump pointed out China’s extensive influence over Biden, saying it’s no surprise his son has been involved in questionable financial dealings, making billions of dollars while managing funds.
Trump then brought up Hunter’s economic transactions with billionaire Yelena Baturina, who received large quantities of money.
In 2014, Vice President Biden attended a business dinner with Hunter and his associates.
Elena Baturina, a Russian oligarch, was also there.
Conveniently, the Biden Administration’s public sanctions list for Russian oligarchs doesn’t contain Baturina.

Biden then wholly denied Trump’s “accusations” about his family being involved with Russian oligarchs.
Hunter’s former business partner, Devon Archer, before Congress on Monday, testified that Biden lied directly to Trump on stage. Archer freely admitted to Joe Biden meeting with Baturina to discuss a $40 billion investment in Hunter’s real estate endeavors.
The dinner events occurred in 2014 and 2015 in Georgetown while Biden was still vice president under Barack Obama, with the initial one being attended by Baturina.
Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to provide reasons for why Biden didn’t impose sanctions on Baturina. Also, she refrained from admitting he had dinner with Baturina as part of comprising a business deal.

The widow of Yury Luzhkov, a former Soviet bureaucrat and corrupt mayor of Moscow, Baturina was left off Biden’s sanctions list in 2022.
According to The Daily Mail, Hunter Biden’s real estate firm obtained a substantial $40 million investment from Baturina. The real estate firm owned by the current first son also ended up transferring over $3.5 million to a company associated with Hunter, Rosemont Realty.
Hunter Biden’s firm had a comprehensive plan to invest $69.7 million in approximately 2.15 million square feet of office space across seven cities in the US. The additional $40 million originated with Inteco Management AG, a Swiss company owned by Yelena Baturina.
At this rate, only time will tell what’s next to be revealed about the Biden family.
