Biden Finds Himself Disoriented on Stage Once More

Biden addressed N.E.A. attendees at a gathering on Tuesday afternoon. This followed his return from a vacation in Delaware, with First Lady Jill Biden accompanying him.

Biden Experiences a Senior Moment

“Teaching is not just something you all do, it’s who you have been,” Biden praised the attendees, assuring them that their concerns are taken seriously.

Words from the First Lady

First Lady Jill Biden joyfully declared, “I believed Joe was going to be the most pro-public schooling president,” after reuniting with NEA President Becky Pringle, whom she contacted for summer reading suggestions.

The Biden Education Pathway is the administration’s plan for public schools, offering universal preschool until high school, along with pathways that include careers and college, as presented by the First Lady.

She went on to describe President Biden as “the individual who will never give up advocating for you.”

President Biden assured the approximately 6,000 attendees in person and the thousands watching the webcast across the country that “educators have advocates in the White House.”

“I understand that the past three years have been challenging. We have put a lot of pressure on you. I want you to know that we appreciate you and that I see you,” Biden remarked.

However, later on, the focus shifted to his momentary confusion.

Although the audience found Biden’s confusion amusing, his struggles with cognition have caused both Democrats and Republicans to question his abilities.

Biden’s Approval Rating Drops

The background music, “Day Dreaming” by Aretha Franklin, seemed fitting, as daydreaming appears to be a constant state of mind for Joe.

Recent polls show a decline in Biden’s favorability ratings, with concerns about his cognitive abilities coming from both sides of the political spectrum.
