NFL star Chandler Jones of the Las Vegas Raiders claimed he was forcibly taken to a mental health hospital by the Las Vegas fire department. The incident, which occurred last week, raised serious concerns about the treatment of high-profile athletes and their rights.
Jones, who is known for his prowess on the football field, took to social media to share his ordeal. He alleged he was injected with an unknown substance against his will and made to sleep on the floor.
This disturbing account comes in the wake of Jones’ controversial social media posts, where he accused Raiders owner Mark Davis of protecting a man he claims molested his goddaughter.

The NFL star further stated he was taken into custody by the Las Vegas fire department without any valid reason. He was put on a court hold by the Las Vegas police, who cited concerns about his online posts as the reason for their intervention.
Jones, however, maintains he hadn’t done anything wrong.
Adding to the distressing narrative, Jones revealed he was not allowed any form of communication during his time at the hospital. Despite his pleas, he was forcibly injected and transported in an ambulance by a group of 5 to 7 individuals.
Jones’ allegations have sparked a debate about the treatment of athletes and their rights.
He shared a picture of a document titled ‘patient rights’, highlighting lines such as ‘you have the right to refuse treatment and medication’, ‘you have the right to be treated in the least restrictive environment’, and ‘the right to receive an explanation of treatment goals, methods’.

The Raiders organization remained tight-lipped about the situation.
Head coach Josh McDaniels referred to it as a ‘personal situation and a private matter’. However, the team did place Jones, who plays as a defensive end, on the non-football illness list last week, ruling him out indefinitely.
Jones’ claims have raised eyebrows in the NFL community. The star player, who has previously played for the New England Patriots and the Arizona Cardinals, signed a three-year, $51 million deal with the Raiders last year.
His current situation led to concerns about his well-being among players and others around the league.
