DeSantis Criticizes Trump’s Involvement in Censoring Hunter Biden Laptop Story

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis criticized the former Trump administration for assisting in the censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop revelations in 2020.

Far-Left Deep State is Deep Indeed

DeSantis’ comments highlight a major concern: the presence of deep state intelligence operatives and civil servants with left-leaning ideologies within the Trump administration.

The Hunter Biden laptop story, which exposed his extravagant lifestyle, addictions, and dubious business dealings with foreign entities such as Russia, Ukraine, and China, was first made public by The New York Post in October 2020.

However, it was immediately censored by Big Tech social media platforms, particularly Twitter. The suppression of the story, along with claims of Russian disinformation, likely had an impact on the outcome of the 2020 election in favor of Biden.

During an interview with Fox News, DeSantis stated that Trump administration agencies “colluded” with Big Tech in concealing the Hunter Biden laptop story in the fall of 2020, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

DeSantis Might Not Be Hurting Trump, But His Remarks Matter

The governor of Florida highlighted a significant issue regarding the 2020 election, suggesting that agencies within the Republican administration were “complicit” in suppressing the laptop’s revelations.

DeSantis argued that the cover-up was a “huge, huge deal” and that it happened with the collusion of “Donald Trump’s own agencies” and Big Tech.

He vowed that if he became president, he would never allow such actions and would immediately terminate those responsible.

Trial lawyer Robert Barnes supported DeSantis’ statements, citing court documents that revealed how the FBI deliberately withheld information about Big Tech censorship from the Trump administration in relation to the Hunter Biden laptop story.

DeSantis’ criticism of Trump on this censorship issue may not gain him political favor, but it does shed light on the problem with the far-left deep state.

The question remains as to how the next Republican president would address and combat this issue for the well-being of the nation.
