A renowned pediatrician, Dr. Renata Moon, was unexpectedly fired from her position at Washington State University in June 2023. The university cited a change in institutional needs as the reason for her dismissal. However, the underlying motive appears to be the suppression of medical freedom.
Dr. Moon had previously testified as an expert witness in a panel discussion on COVID-19 vaccines led by Senator Ron Johnson in December 2022.
During her testimony, Dr. Moon expressed concerns about the safety of mRNA COVID shots, specifically noting an increase in cases of myocarditis and adverse reactions following vaccination.
Her courageous decision to speak against the mainstream narrative resulted in university officials reporting her to the Washington Medical Commission (WMC).
“They also said in that same memo that I may no longer be suitable in teaching their medical students because they follow the evidence. And at the end of June, they failed to renew my annual contract as a faculty member.” – Dr. Renata Moon

The WMC has a policy of revoking licenses of doctors who spread what they consider as “misinformation” about COVID shots.
This policy raises concerns about freedom of speech and the right of physicians to voice their concerns about medical products. Dr. Moon’s case is a clear example of how these rights are being restricted.
Despite facing backlash, Dr. Moon remains unwavering. She believes it is her duty as a physician to speak out if she identifies issues with a product.
She maintains that everything she said during her testimony was based on facts. Her main concern is not her personal situation, but the larger issue of freedom of speech for all Americans.
She also highlights the lack of information in vaccine inserts, which she believes hampers informed consent. Other experts, including Dr. Robert Malone and Dr. Peter McCullough, who also testified at the Senate panel, share these concerns.
“I have a government that’s telling me that I have to say ‘safe and effective’ and if I don’t, my license is at threat. We’re seeing an uptick in myocarditis, we’re seeing an uptick in adverse reactions. Something is extremely wrong”.

Dr. Moon’s dismissal raises significant concerns about the state of medical freedom in America. It emphasizes the need for an ethical healthcare system that prioritizes patient well-being over corporate interests.
As Dr. Moon rightly points out, we are grappling with conflicts of interest on a scale we never imagined. This incident should serve as a wake-up call for all Americans.
It is a reminder that the fight for medical freedom is far from over.
