Hunter Biden Files Lawsuit Against Giuliani and Costello for Alleged Laptop Hacking

Hunter Biden has filed a lawsuit against former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and his lawyer Robert Costello. The lawsuit alleges that they unlawfully accessed data from his laptop, which was left at a repair shop in Delaware.

According to the lawsuit, an external drive containing the data was sent to Costello’s home in New York by Mac Isaac, the owner of the repair shop. The lawsuit further claims that Giuliani bragged about downloading Hunter Biden’s data.

The lawsuit accuses Giuliani of spending numerous hours hacking into and manipulating the data, as well as making copies for himself and others to access and analyze. It also alleges that Giuliani damaged the data through his unlawful activities.

Despite initially denying ownership of the device and facing claims of Russian disinformation, Hunter Biden’s laptop was found to contain thousands of photos, videos, and files belonging to the president’s son.

The publication of these details led to accusations of corrupt influence-peddling during Joe Biden’s vice presidency, ultimately leading to an impeachment inquiry against the current president.

Giuliani has dismissed the lawsuit, stating that there is potential evidence of crimes on the laptop.

Ted Goodman, an advisor to Giuliani, commented, “Hunter Biden has previously refused to admit ownership of the laptop. I’m not surprised he’s now falsely claiming his laptop hard drive was manipulated by Mayor Giuliani, considering the sordid material and potential evidence of crimes on that thing.”

The lawsuit also includes Robert Costello, a former lawyer for Giuliani, alleging that they used Hunter’s username to access the data on the laptop. It accuses them of tampering and manipulating information, as well as obsessing over the data they were given.

The lawsuit was filed in a federal court in Los Angeles and claims that Giuliani and Costello’s actions violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.

Hunter Biden has demanded that Giuliani and Costello cease their unlawful activities and return any data belonging to him that is in their possession.

The lawsuit states, “Defendants’ statements suggest their unlawful hacking activities are ongoing today and, unless stopped, will continue into the future, thereby necessitating this action.”

Hunter Biden is seeking damages exceeding $75,000 for the alleged violation of his digital privacy.
