Representative Jim Jordan has withdrawn from the Speaker’s race in a surprising turn of events. This decision came after 22 Republicans, known as RINOs, successfully blocked his bid for the position. Despite having strong support from grassroots supporters, Jordan’s attempt to become the leader of the Republican Party was unsuccessful.
Jordan’s withdrawal is seen as a victory for the RINOs, who have been accused of silencing their voters’ voices in government. This outcome is a setback for supporters of former President Trump, who had hoped to see Jordan take on a leadership role within the party.

Instead of continuing his campaign, Jordan has endorsed Patrick McHenry as the interim Speaker for the next three months. This decision has been confirmed by Leigh Ann Caldwell of The Washington Post, who reported that Jordan would remain the speaker designee.
The news of Jordan’s withdrawal and endorsement of McHenry was first reported by Jake Sherman. According to Sherman, Jordan will not hold a third ballot for speaker and will support McHenry until January.
This decision was made after a closed-door meeting between McCarthy, McHenry, Jordan, Cole, and Emmer.
🚨BREAKING
Thanks to my RINO primary opponent, Ken Buck, Jim Jordan has been forced to put his vote to become House Speaker on hold for 90 days.
I’m officially holding two rallies outside of Ken Buck’s campaign offices Castle Rock, CO and Windsor, CO.

This unexpected development has raised questions about the future direction of the Republican Party. It is currently unclear what will happen next.
Opinions on the decision to temporarily empower McHenry until January are divided, with some seeing it as a strategic move and others perceiving it as a surrender to the RINOs.
Jordan’s withdrawal from the Speaker’s race has caused a significant shift in the political landscape within the Republican Party. As the party grapples with this change, the impact on the dynamics within the GOP and the future of conservative politics in America remains uncertain.
