Kari Lake Emerges Victorious in TPUSA Straw Poll

According to Charlie Kirk, the creator of Turning Point USA, former President Trump received 85% of the support in the straw poll conducted by the organization.

Trump Leads the Poll

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis finished second, scoring higher than Vivek Ramaswamy.

Kirk mentioned that it’s not surprising that former President Donald Trump received 85% support in the straw poll.

However, the results for the vice president pick were unexpected.

According to The Gateway Pundit, Kari Lake topped the CPAC straw poll for vice president with 20% of the vote, defeating Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley earlier this year. Lake was one of over 30 candidates that Turning Point USA voters could have chosen from.

Lake is the clear frontrunner for the position of former President Trump’s running mate in many national surveys.

The Republican, however, asserts that she is fighting for Arizonans and pursuing legal action against the state’s 2022 gubernatorial election. Lake also believes that “everybody in Arizona recognizes” that she won the election for governor.

Furthermore, Lake declares her full commitment to serving as governor of Arizona.

Lake continues to hint at a potential bid for another position.

She previously stated in front of an audience in Iowa that she will do everything in her power to get Trump elected as president, even if the courts don’t have the courage to do what needs to be done and what is right.

Lake Stands by Trump

Unlike Mike Pence and other potential vice presidential candidates, Lake will never abandon the United States or former President Trump.

According to aides, Trump has enjoyed watching Lake’s rise and sees similarities to his own journey. Lake, like him, is a veteran TV news anchor who ran for governor of Arizona as a right-wing candidate.
