RFK Jr. Urges for Unity Despite Continuous Criticism from Democrats on the Left

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. testified before the House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government regarding abuse by federal agencies.

The hearing was conducted in light of the ruling on Missouri v. Biden, examining the collusion between deep state bureaucrats and Big Tech to censor Americans.

Democrats Could Not Let Kennedy Speak Without Trying to Derail Him

However, 102 House Democrats signed a petition asking for Kennedy to be disinvited from testifying before the subcommittee, only for him to respond by calling it proof of the issue that this hearing was called to tackle.

The letter, which Kennedy later held on display during the hearing, was signed by committee members Reps. Judy Chu, Dan Goldman, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

In his opening testimony, Kennedy said, like many of his fellow Democrats, he dedicated his life to this party and its values. Despite calls for unity, Democrats sought to attack Kennedy on every front, primarily on his stance concerning vaccines.

RFK Jr: Censorship is Antithetical to America’s Founding Principles

In response to nearly being censored, Kennedy replied to Democrats, saying their very actions are what the committee was meant to stop.

Kennedy restated he did not discuss vaccines or prohibited topics, but focused on campaign issues and the importance of open, respectful debate among Americans.

Debate, said the nephew of JFK, is the very cornerstone of what the American republic was founded upon. The First Amendment was not written for soft, politically correct speech, but for discord nobody wanted to hear.

RFK Jr.’s father, uncle, FDR, and Truman would find the censorship coordinated by the federal government, particularly the Biden administration, extremely appalling on its face.

Kennedy pointed out that he was the first person to be formally suppressed for his criticism of Dr. Anthony Fauci and his handling of the coronavirus.
