Republican National Committee (RNC) chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, recently took it upon herself to lecture the Make America Great Again (MAGA) base on how to win elections. This audacious act sparked a wave of criticism from conservative circles, particularly given the RNC’s track record under McDaniel’s leadership.
Steve Bannon, a prominent figure in the conservative movement, has been vocal about the need for a shift within the Republican Party. He argues the old guard, represented by figures like McCain and Cheney, is being systematically replaced by those who align more closely with MAGA policies.
Bannon contends that the majority of Republican voters are not neoliberal neocons, but rather individuals who oppose endless wars and an expanding administrative state.
RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel reacts to the McCarthy ouster: “We can’t do this next year and win. When we’re not talking about Biden, we’re not winning.”
It’s not about “talking,” Ronna. That’s your problem. Talk, talk, talk. Theater!

However, the RNC under McDaniel’s leadership has been criticized for its perceived failures.
One of the most glaring instances was the RNC’s silence when Democrats arrested Trump, an act that many conservatives viewed as a direct attack on values and principles.
The RNC’s ineptitude extends beyond its political stance. Despite having ample resources, staff, and connections, the committee has been unable to generate a competent canvassing list.
This raises serious concerns about the future of the Republican Party, especially considering the importance of the upcoming 2024 election.
Caroline Wren, during an interview with Steve Bannon, expressed her frustration with the RNC’s lack of action. She questioned the absence of the Republican National Committee, Republican AGs, and Republican prosecutors in the face of the left’s aggressive push for single-party rule.
Her sentiments echo the feelings of many conservatives who believe the Republican Party has become spineless and complacent.

In a recent development, the House of Representatives voted to remove Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. This decision came after McCarthy failed to keep his commitments to several members of his Republican caucus during his nine-month tenure as Speaker.
Ronna McDaniel’s lecture to the MAGA base seems ill-timed and misplaced, given these circumstances. Her inability to secure victories since taking over the RNC and her failure to address issues like voter fraud and mail-in ballot fraud left many conservatives disillusioned.
As the 2024 election approaches, the Republican Party needs strong, effective leadership that can rally its base and secure victories. Whether McDaniel can rise to this challenge remains to be seen.
