The White House is no longer hiding its desperation. The administration is now openly requesting media organizations to take action, as reported in a “draft letter” published by the New York Post.
In this letter, sent to influential news organizations like CNN, The New York Times, and Fox News, the White House urges the media to intensify scrutiny of House Republicans for launching an impeachment inquiry based on falsehoods.
Ian Sams, a spokesperson for the White House Counsel’s Office, wrote in a draft letter obtained by CNN that the impeachment inquiry lacks supporting evidence, which should raise concerns for news organizations. Sams called on the media to hold those in power accountable and criticized the spread of disinformation and lies in the modern media environment.

However, critics are skeptical of these claims. They argue that the GOP has found evidence, such as phone calls, emails, texts, and witnesses, linking Biden to corrupt business dealings. They also question Biden’s credibility due to his past false statements, including his claim of being at Ground Zero the day after the 9/11 attack.
Some believe that the White House’s plea to the media is an attempt to divert attention from the truth and protect Joe Biden, rather than seeking the truth for the American people. Journalist Matthew Keys criticized the move, stating that the government should not interfere with the editorial strategies of news organizations like CNN and The New York Times.
JUST IN: The Biden administration has sent a memo out to all mainstream media networks begging them to SLAM the Biden impeachment inquiry, asking them to refer to the investigation as a “witch-hunt” and full of “lies”.

The fact that the Biden administration is resorting to such measures indicates their concern about the impeachment inquiry. They seem to be aware that it may harm their position in the upcoming election, especially if the full extent of the Biden scandal is revealed to the American public. This may explain why they are already requesting compliance from the media.
In the end, the White House’s desperate plea for increased scrutiny of the impeachment inquiry suggests a sense of panic within the administration.
