Biden Discovers Fresh Approach to Support the Entry of Undocumented Immigrants into the US

During the COVID pandemic, the Title 42 law allowed for the deportation of illegal immigrants as soon as they crossed the border if they didn’t have a valid asylum claim.

However, this provision expired in mid-May, making it more challenging to deport undocumented individuals and resulting in a flood of people entering the United States from various parts of the world.

Nevertheless, the Biden administration has found a new way to obscure this situation while still enabling the entry of thousands of individuals into the country.

Open the Ports!

The Biden administration, along with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is touting a decrease in the number of illegal immigrants apprehended at the border. However, the reality is quite different…

Through a catch-and-release strategy, DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas has been using a special Ports of Entry program to facilitate the entry of many migrants. In fact, the number of migrants entering through this program has increased by 34% since January of this year.

One popular method among undocumented immigrants is the CBP One phone application. This app allows them to schedule a border appointment and enter the US without being turned back.

In other words, although the numbers are higher than ever, they are being concealed by legitimizing the entry process through an app, thereby not being counted as “apprehensions.”

If you believe that this is just another tactic used by the Democratic party to inundate America with illegal immigrants and disregard the issue, you are absolutely correct.

Today, in response to a question about @RonDeSantis‘ border security announcement, Karine Jean-Pierre claimed there has been a “significant drop” in illegal immigration thanks to Biden’s policies since Title 42 ended.

CBP One

The Customs and Border Patrol’s “One” app has experienced a significant spike in undocumented immigrants entering the US. In fact, since January, approximately 100,000 individuals have entered the country through this app.

Around half a million people per year will be able to book appointments using the app and enter the US with a success rate of 99%.

In other words, as long as individuals make an appointment to speak to Border Patrol and express their intention to enter the country, they can do so without hindrance.
