British Pilots Express Concern Over Biden’s Troubling Withdrawal From Afghanistan

Following President Joe Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, Taliban militants were handed billions in US weapons and supplies.

Instead of destroying the equipment before withdrawing from the country, Joe Biden left behind nearly $85 billion worth of US military equipment, which ultimately ended up in the hands of the Taliban.

Now, Taliban forces have access to armored vehicles, aircraft, body armor, helicopters, drones, and stockpiles of arms and ammunition.

Now, it’s not uncommon for the Taliban to post videos online of all the American equipment they have come into possession of, including highly advanced night vision goggles.

The worst is the 9,000 or supposedly more Americans left behind in Afghanistan to survive the Taliban’s overthrow of then-President Amrullah Saleh’s government.

Over 100,000 Afghans were rescued and given a direct route to the United States, while Biden turned a deaf ear to the Americans stranded in the war-torn nation.

Squadron Leader Diana Bird, who is 43, remembers when the crowds aggressively stormed into the airfield, advancing rapidly towards their location.

According to her accounts, millions of people flooded into Kabul airport. Some of the people who ended up storming the airport were even carrying weapons, saying they had to fight.

Holes were ripped and fences were outright torn down by the panicking mass of people. These desperate folks were pleading for assistance and evacuation, revealing that they had encountered resistance and needed to engage in combat to reach the airport.

Eventually, the military cleared the tarmac and landed a C-17 within the confined space on the runway.

Unfortunately, Bird was forced to turn away fleeing refugees. This is something that happened in a moment, which still haunts her.
