Over six million individuals who entered the United States illegally have been apprehended at the southern border since Joe Biden became president in 2021. This situation has not only put a strain on the US economy and social services but has also introduced a significant security risk. Among the apprehended individuals, there have already been 140 people on the terrorist watchlist this year alone, highlighting the potential threat.

140 apprehensions of individuals on the terror watch list taken into custody along the southern border after only 16 in 2021. Yes, that’s terrifying given how many likely were not caught. Those Are Just The Ones Being Caught…
It is known that Homeland Security now uses the ONE app for illegal immigrants to set up asylum and risk hearings once they arrive, bypassing the regular process. Additionally, there are individuals with fake IDs who know how to evade identification measures, raising concerns about those who have not been apprehended yet. Are these individuals forming sleeper cells or collaborating with other extremists? The extent of the potential threat remains unknown.

The Ugly Truth
Former acting commissioner for US Border Patrol, Mark Morgan, acknowledges that the “next terrorist attack” could be in the planning stages right now among these individuals. However, due to the porous nature of the border and the lack of proper vetting, it is impossible to know for sure. The Department of Homeland Security must address this escalating national security threat, as it continues to worsen. The upcoming 2024 election will provide an opportunity for a full investigation of this issue when Republicans are back in power.
