The Disturbing Reality Hidden by C40 Cities’ Climate Goals

The globalist climate organization, C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, largely funded by Democratic billionaire Michael Bloomberg, set some ambitious targets for 2030 that raised eyebrows and sparked controversy.

14 major American cities, including New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago, are part of this group. Their targets include zero meat and dairy consumption, limited clothing purchases, no private vehicles, and restricted air travel.

These goals, outlined in their report “The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World,” have been met with skepticism and criticism.

Media coverage of these goals has been limited, and those who have dared to discuss them have faced backlash from corporate fact-checkers.

AFP Fact Check, for instance, refuted claims made by conservative commentator Glenn Beck about the banning of meat and dairy and restrictions on air travel and clothing consumption.

They argued these were not policy recommendations, but rather reference points for cities to consider when exploring emission-reduction alternatives.

However, this explanation seems to contradict the very definition of a ‘target,’ which implies a desired goal. The report itself states these targets are based on a vision of resource-efficient production and extensive changes in consumer choices.

If these weren’t their goals, why label them as such?

Moreover, actions taken by city leaders seem to align with these targets. New York City Mayor Eric Adams, for example, announced caps on meat and dairy served by city institutions.

The UK and France have also implemented bans on new gas-powered vehicles and short-haul flights respectively, in line with the C40 Cities’ climate goals.

Ultimately, the climate coalition’s goals are inherently anti-human.

People need meat for protein and thrive on variety in their diets. Banning meat and dairy, restricting calories, and genetically altering the human body could have detrimental effects on people’s health and well-being.

The methods proposed by the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group raise serious concerns.
