In a move that left the political establishment reeling, former President Trump’s super PAC has once again demonstrated its unparalleled knack for trolling.
The super PAC recently launched a website that invites supporters to vote on who they believe would be the best running mate for the 45th president. This audacious move not only stirred up controversy but also underscored Trump’s dominant position in the primary polls.
Henry Rodgers of the Daily Caller broke the news on Tuesday, revealing the super PAC’s latest strategy. The website features all the GOP candidates currently vying for the presidency, subtly implying that the real contest is for the second spot on the ticket.
This bold assertion reflects Trump’s commanding lead in the primary polls, effectively relegating the upcoming debate to a competition for the vice-presidential nomination.

The website doesn’t stop at merely listing the candidates. It goes a step further by sharing images and statements of the candidates, some of which are brutally candid.
For instance, it features an image of Mike Pence with a fly on his head, a throwback to the infamous incident during the 2020 vice presidential debate when a buzzing insect landed on Pence.
However, the trolling extends beyond visual gags. The website also quotes candidates in ways that highlight their perceived weaknesses.
Nikki Haley, the former South Carolina governor, is one such target. The website quotes her views on George Floyd, using her own words to critique her stance. Chris Christie also comes under fire for his positions on gun control and illegal immigration.
Despite the website’s controversial content, it has been lauded for its ingenuity. Natalie Winters, executive editor and co-host of Steve Bannon’s “The War Room,” praised the move as “the ultimate troll.”
However, not everyone shares this sentiment. Fox News, which is hosting the upcoming debate, banned its employees from accessing the website, preventing them from sharing this creative masterpiece with their audience.

This ban sparked further controversy.
If a single writer were to publish information from the website on Fox News, it could potentially influence the perceptions of thousands, if not millions, of viewers. However, Fox employees attempting to access the site are met with a block message, effectively censoring the content.
By launching a website that simultaneously mocks the opposition and invites public participation, it has managed to shake up the 2024 vice presidential debate.
