Liberal Outrage Ignited by Woody Harrelson’s Controversial Stance

In a recent turn of events, actor Woody Harrelson has become the target of a social media storm.

The controversy was ignited by a photo of Harrelson wearing a hat showing support for Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., which was posted on Instagram by actress Cheryl Hines, Kennedy’s wife.

The image depicted Hines standing next to Harrelson, wearing a blue “Kennedy 2024” cap, and was captioned, “Great seeing you, Woody. #friends #hats #rfkjr.”

Harrelson, known for his outspoken views, has previously made headlines with his criticism of the government’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccine rollout.

His public endorsement of Kennedy, who has expressed skepticism towards pandemic protocols and childhood vaccines, appears to align with his own beliefs.

The actor’s stance was notably expressed during his monologue on “Saturday Night Live” in February. Harrelson cleverly disguised his critique as a movie pitch he had heard in 2019.

He described a scenario where the world’s largest drug cartels buy out all the media and politicians, compelling people to stay confined in their homes unless they repeatedly take the cartels’ drugs.

The actor, a self-proclaimed marijuana user, concluded the sketch with a punchline, stating, “I threw the script away. I mean, who would believe such a crazy idea? Being forced to take drugs? I do that willingly all day.”

This photo and Harrelson’s public endorsement of Kennedy have not been well received by liberals on social media, who have expressed their anger and disappointment.

The image has been met with a barrage of negative comments from liberal users, some of whom have declared Harrelson as “dead to me” and accused him of being an “anti-science quack.”

Andrew Kimmel, senior producer of “Shark Tank,” shared the image with the comment, “We lost Woody.” Similarly, leftist influencer “Liberal Lisa in Oklahoma” expressed her disappointment, stating, “It’s official. After his s—— SNL opening monologue about Covid, now this. Woody Harrelson is dead to me.”

Prominent leftist social media user Angela Belcamino went as far as to say, “Woody Harrelson just canceled himself.”

Devin Duke, a Democratic social media strategist, criticized Harrelson, writing, “It’s a shame Woody Harrelson has revealed himself to be an anti-science quack.” Former Bill Clinton staffer Claude Taylor added, “So disappointing. Good reminder actors are not role models.”

The popular progressive account “Wu Tang is for the Children” posted, “If you didn’t realize Woody was gone after his SNL monologue well now it’s official.”
