Possibility of Musk-Zuckerberg Fight Increases After Training with UFC Legend

The possibility of a cage fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg is becoming more likely, despite originally being considered as part of Twitter trolling.

UFC President Dana White is optimistic about the potential match between Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, and Zuckerberg, co-founder of Facebook, believing it will be the most watched fight ever.

White expressed confidence in both men due to their previous experience in the field, with Zuckerberg’s involvement in jiu-jitsu competitions and Musk’s martial arts training in South Africa.

What Originally Began as Trolling About a Business Rivalry Will Become Reality

The idea of arranging a fight arose after Instagram’s announcement of launching Threads, a social media platform that directly competes with Twitter. Musk playfully challenged Zuckerberg to a “cage match.”

Zuckerberg seemingly confirmed Musk’s challenge via an Instagram Story, simply saying, “send me location.”

UFC legend Georges St-Pierre (MMA) reached out to Elon Musk on Twitter, offering to train him. Musk quickly accepted the offer.

St-Pierre, a retired professional mixed martial artist, is widely recognized as one of the most accomplished fighters, having achieved the status of a two-division champion in the UFC.

On Tuesday, podcaster Lex Fridman, reportedly a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt holder, shared his encounter with Musk on Twitter, revealing an impromptu martial arts training session with him.

Fridman described Musk as impressive, noting his strength, power, and proficiency in standing and ground techniques.

Dana White reportedly had a conversation with Musk and Zuckerberg about the highly anticipated fight and confirmed their seriousness in going forward with it. However, a date for the fight has yet to be announced.
