San Francisco Traffic Targeted by Undressed Woman Firing Gun

During rush hour in the evening, traffic on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge was severely backed up. The cause of the congestion was a naked woman who was carrying a gun and a knife.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at 4:38 p.m.

According to investigators, motorists on the Bay Bridge called 911 to report that a completely naked woman had fired a gun at several vehicles, threatened unknown individuals with a knife, and attempted to enter cars on the bridge.

The California Highway Patrol closed the I-80 eastbound routes near the toll plaza and the I-80 connector entrance to I-880 in Oakland due to the erratic behavior of the woman.

Shortly before 6 p.m., CHP officers encountered the woman walking across the bridge and instructed her to lower her weapons.

The woman complied and was subsequently arrested by the officers. According to the CHP, an ambulance was called to the scene, and she was taken to the nearest hospital for medical and psychiatric evaluations.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this unusual incident.

KRON-TV received the following statement from the California Highway Patrol regarding the incident:

At approximately 4:38 PM, the California Highway Patrol Golden Gate Communications Center received a 911 call about a reckless driver on Interstate 80 heading eastbound. The caller reported that the female driver had displayed a firearm before fleeing at a high rate of speed.

The suspect briefly stopped in traffic lanes, exited her vehicle while brandishing a knife, and began shouting at other drivers. She then got back into her car and continued heading east.

As the suspect approached the SFOBB toll plaza, she once again stopped the vehicle and exited, this time completely naked and holding a firearm.

Eyewitnesses reported that the suspect fired shots into the air before firing at other nearby vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as a result of the gunshots.
